Goodbye Blogger!

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not leaving... apparently Google is bailing on the "Blogger" and "Picasa" brands, opting to change them to "Google Blogs" and "Google Photos."  Not sure what that means for this site yet... hmmm...

Anyway, this is supposed to coincide with the public launch of Google +, Google's new Facebook-killing social media site - which, by the way, I've heard is nothing short of awesome.

On a somewhat related, but also hilarious note, according to Forbes, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is the single most popular user on Google +.  Apparently Zuckerberg has more "plus-es" than even the Google founders themselves.

As of now, Zuckerberg stands at over 34,000 followers, with Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at 23,000 and 18,000, respectively.

Anyway, Google + is still in the beta/invite only phase, so the rest of us mortals will have to wait for six weeks to join in the fun.... which is super lame.
