Apparently Lithuanian designer/engineer/robot maker Egle Ugintaite designed the cane, known as "The Aid," to have the capability to monitor heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature of its wearer/user. It also has the ability to track the user with GPS and even has an "SOS" button to alert the police if the user gets in trouble.
